From the Beaver County Marcellus Awareness Community (BCMAC), July 14, 2022
Thanks to those who joined us last Wednesday, July 6. Continuing to monitor the Shell cracker plant is so important as the plant begins to come online.
Please take a moment to register for our upcoming meeting on August 3; we’ll be discussing air inversions with the National Weather Service which could impact your health, reviewing the observations you sent us, and we look forward to hearing about how you participated in plastic-free July.
We are also looking forward to meeting some of you this weekend at the upcoming Ohio River Valley Fest – if you haven’t registered yet, please do!
If you missed our last meeting, you can view a copy of the recording here. There have also been a number of media segments on the concerns residents are voicing about the operations of the Shell plant.
As well, we have an upcoming events we would like to remind you about: Beaver Falls Solar Community Conversation & Free Legal Clinic. Date and time are Saturday, July 30, 2022 – 10:30 AM, 1301 Seventh Avenue | Beaver Falls, PA 15010 (Carnegie Free Library of Beaver Falls).
